AI agent administrators

Learn about the AI agent admin role in Okta.

AI agent admins perform tasks that are related to their org's AI agents management. The role has a fixed set of permissions and some restrictions.

AI agent admins have permission to perform these tasks:

  • Create, update, and delete AI agents
  • Create, update, and delete MCP servers
  • Configure AI agent imports for an app integration
  • View users, groups, and apps
  • View authorization servers, resource servers, and client authentication settings
  • View SaaS app and Okta service accounts
  • View System Log events
  • View realms
AI agent admins can't perform the following actions:
  • Integrate apps from the OIN
  • Create OIDC app integrations
  • Configure resource or authorization servers
  • Manage groups
  • Request access to AI agents
  • Certify AI agents
